Hey Jonathon

On the days that we train - given it is mid morning - what is the best way for me to prepare "diet wise"?

I have read so many conflicting stories that I am sooo confused as to which is the best way to eat and prepare before we train?

I am a BREAKAST eater - meaning the morning is my hungriest time of the day. So I can get up in the mornings (i am up at 5am) and eat a horse!!! Sooo by 8am I am starting to get peckish. BUT I know we are training at 10.30am so I don't want to eat too much in case I get the stitch. Any ideas for me bro?

Hi Edith

I know there is conflicting information out there, but my advice to you based on your current goals is to have an early breakfast (5 am) & then around 8-8:30 am have a light snack (example. a protein shake and a hand full of almond nuts) Grade . To avoid getting a stitch I recommend eating at least 2 hours before any training session. Let me know how you go!

A banana is another great pre-workout snack, or a light breakfast for those who don't like to eat breakfast. It's easy to digest and gives you a nice supply of energy without being too sugary.
